Travail's beautiful loneliness was the FIRST album i ever bought as a kid and obviously had a huge impact on my musical taste, i was amazed to learn after having it in my collection for some months, that Southern Train Gypsy contain 4/5 of Travail's original members. great to see they're still rocking it hard! STG have a totally different vibe going but have kept their excellent songwriting and heavy groove. well worth checking out both bands.
Favorite track: The Gunslinger.

This album rips off such heavy riffs hard from start to finish. I love the bluesy swing with the vocals, the screaming guitar, thundering bass and delirious, vital, pounding and crashing drums. Every track is great.
